The second International Halal Congress at Alimentaria 2018 expands on the achievements of the previous edition.

The congress is divided into two sessions :

  • A first part presenting the main figures and trends in the growing Halal segment at an international level along with specific success stories.
  • The second part focussing on branding and marketing directed at Muslim markets, analysing strategies to improve the penetration of these products among Muslim consumers.

Consumption in the Halal segment is growing steadily at a global scale, with consumers demanding more sophisticated and diversified product. Halal certificating follows this trend, becoming a guarantee of quality and health, also attracting the interest of non-Muslim conscious consumers.
